  1. I love the photos of the punts and the gargoyles, however, I think that they are grotesques non? Bring me that dragonny one back.

  2. You're right Em, but on the tour the guide called them gargoyles and many shops selling replicas call them both...and this is the city of great learning!!! I knew you'd like the dragony one, too heavy to bring back, sorry!

    I like your photos of this town... It seems very beautiful for history teacher, doesn't it ??

    1. Oui JC, Oxford est tres historique et aussi il ya une dynamisme avec tous les etudients autour de la ville . De plus, il y a la riviere juste a cote avec beaucoup de rameurs, et rameuses qui commencent leurs entrainment a partir de 6h le matin!!!!

  5. Glad you liked Oxford and that the rain has at last disappeared so you can really enjoy your trip. Unlike you both and your 12 months holiday we have just returned from 2 weeks in Croatia, hence no comments recently!! I remember John having a 'thing' about gargoyles, taking pictures of the ones on the church at Woburn when you visited a while ago xxxx
